Zachary Parker for DC Council — Ward 5

People powered leadership

A lifelong advocate and leader, Zachary and his family have themselves struggled with inequitable access to healthcare and education, giving him a firsthand perspective on the District's systemic injustices.

During his years as an activist in Ward 5, Zachary has demonstrated a deep commitment to and understanding of workers and the issues we face. These are reflected in his impressive platform.

If elected, Zachary has pledged to protect the right to organize in the District, hold District agencies accountable to enforcing wage theft laws, and work ensure to that District funded projects create good-paying jobs.

Labor unions believe that Zachary has the values, experience, and instincts to be a champion for workers as we fight for our share of D.C.’s economic recovery. We need more voices like his on the Council, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting him.

D.C.’s Democratic primary will be held on Tuesday, June 21st. You can learn about voting here.
