The Virginia Primary will be held on June 8th, 2021. Polling places are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Click here to look up your polling place. Anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

While the deadline to register for the primary has passed, if you’re already registered to vote, double-check to make sure that all your information is accurate.

If you filled out an abstentee ballot, you must return your ballot to your local registrar by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. If you are returning your ballot by-mail, it must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by your registrar by noon on the third day after the election.

You NO LONGER need a photo ID to vote in Virginia. You will need to show one form of identification, including any government document that shows your name and address, or a bank statement, utility bill, or paycheck. Click here for a full list of acceptable IDs.
