Dental and Optical Coverage During COVID-19
Whether you’re still covered depends on how much you’ve recently worked:
You lose your dental and optical coverage if you work less than 60 hours a month for 3 months in a row.
If you lose your coverage between March 1 and the end of the year, and you (or one of your dependents) have a dental emergency, are in the middle of orthodontia or another treatment, or break your glasses, call the Local 25 office [202-737-2225] for assistance.
If you are still working, your dental and optical coverage will stay the same.
If you lose coverage but later work 60 or more hours a month for three months in a row, you have the same dental and optical coverage you had when you were working.
