A boycott is when hotel or restaurant workers ask individuals and organizations not to eat, meet or sleep at their place of employment.

The workers at these hotels had secured the right to be represented by the union of their choice, UNITE HERE Local 25; however the hotel owners have refused to negotiate with the union or agree to the terms of a contract.

Workers in such a position deserve the community’s support. Please do not undermine their struggle to win the rights, benefits, protections, and dignity only a union contract can provide.
