We are the union of hotel, restaurant and casino workers in the Washington D.C. metro region.
Workers across departments at I.M.P venues the 9:30 Club, The Atlantis, Lincoln Theater, and The Anthem, are organizing. A majority of workers are calling on I.M.P. to agree to a fair process to unionize without management interference. They know that this is possible. In 2023, the iconic First Avenue club in Minneapolis did not interfere with their employees’ decision on whether to unionize and just this year workers at that club and First Avenue’s affiliated clubs ratified their first union contract which included raises as well as improved training and safety policies.
If you work in a hotel or restaurant in the Washington D.C. area, you can have the backing and bargaining power of our great union. The hotel workers represented by Local 25 enjoy great pay and benefits, job security, and the right to have a say over their conditions at work.
Every hospitality worker in D.C, Virginia and Maryland deserves to have the same rights we have. Organizing your workplace will make your family’s life better, and it will also make all of us stronger.
Stay union
By choosing to stay in a union hotel, you show respect to the workers who have fought to make traditionally low-wage jobs into good, family-sustaining, middle class jobs. Creating sustainable jobs changes the lives of the workers for the better, and supports the local economy.
